This journal is a repository for my spiritual and religious musings. It includes reposts from an earlier journal that is now defunct, and some crossposts from ones that aren’t. Expect a lot of navel-gazing and stream-of-unconsciousness meanderings, all of it highly subjective and meaningful to probably no one but me. More mainstream content can be found at my other blogs, which I’ll link elsewhere.
For the bewildered, you can think of me as pagan and leave it at that; but if you want specifics, I have ties to Kemetic Orthodoxy, British Traditional Craft, and the Fellowship of Isis. Don’t ask me how or why, for it’s a mystery to me still, but it does work, perhaps because I’m careful to keep all my flavors separate rather than dumping them all together into one unsavory stew. I am an initiated High Priestess of a BTW tradition, the preceptor and co-founder of a FOI Iseum, and a Shemsu (or, more accurately, a Shemset, since I’m female) of the House of Netjer. I am informed by all of those associations, but I speak here only for myself, and my opinions should not be taken for official policy statements of any of those organizations unless a point is specifically identified as such.
(And for the curious, a taijiya is, essentially, a demon or spirit [youkai] hunter or slayer. I’m not a 16-year-old professional demon exterminator from Japan’s sengoku jidai period, or a cartoon character for that matter, if you were wondering.)
